Sony Ericsson has added one more mobile phone by launching the W705. The sound quality said to match with recently launched flip Walkman phone’ outstanding sound quality from Sony Ericsson W980. Sony Ericsson W705 will come with two color combination, Luxury Silver and Passionate Red. The phone supports 4Gb memory, 2.4in large display screen and a 3.2 mega pixel snapper, more specification of Sony Ericsson W705 are as follow;

UK Mobile Users Sending 217m Texts Each Day

A recent study shows that mobile phone users in the UK are sending around 217 million text messages per day, adding up to 72.9 billion messages a year, also the number of MMS messages is rising quickly with 1.5 million being sent every day.

Steve Reynolds, chairman of the Mobile Data Association commented : “The mobile landscape is constantly evolving. New mobile phones, with easy to use software and creative tariffs from the mobile networks, are encouraging people of all ages to use more of their functionality. The mobile phone has evolved far beyond simple voice and text messaging: it sits at the centre of our lives at home and at work.”

The study was carried out by tracking text messages from July to September and the rise is being attributed to the number of operators offering cheap text message bundles with new contracts.
